Established in 1990, Dunapack is a vertically-structured group of companies, and the largest recycler of packaging waste in Hungary.
Packaging produced by the company is collected or repurchased after use, and recycled in its paper mills and manufacturing plants. Together with its Austrian parent the Hamburger Group, it runs Central Europe's largest vertically-integrated corrugated product manufacturing operation.
Dunapak's activities spread over ten countries of the region. The company has had an ISO 14001-inspired environmental approach since 1996, starting on one of its paper divisions, and it is now EMAS-certifiable.
